"Fantastic staff and the hotel is strategically located in the main retail village of the historic district of St. Augustine. All the shops, dining, and attractions are within short walking distance. Definitely reserve a room with a balcony. Great visit!!!"
"I arrived at this hotel a bit prejudiced because of some negative reviews, likely written by people who either didn’t want to pay for what they were getting or simply couldn’t appreciate the place. I have to admit I was wrong — and I apologize for my initial impression.
The staff was absolutely wonderful: kind, helpful, and genuinely courteous. The rooms may be a little dated, but they were spotless. I was even given extra towels without having to ask twice.
As for the breakfast, anyone claiming it wasn’t good must have had other issues, because it was excellent — fresh and well-organized, with eggs, sausages, yogurt, fresh bread, and more.
The location is also perfect: the old town is only about a 15-minute walk away, and the pool was clean and well-maintained.
This isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel, but I would happily return for the kindness of the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and the overall value. Thank you!
