"Staff very helpful. As a small lodge and the only accommodation along a very remote route, they offered very personalized service. Property is clearly aging but well maintained and clean. The view drinking morning coffee was unmatched!"

"Great kitchen with all the necessary appointments for cooking your own meals. Since food options are very limited in the area, the kitchen is great. Nice fire pit outside. The only thing lacking is no internet. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier View. Check in was easy, however Maps took us across the street to Sheep Mtn Resort. They gave us the proper directions. The address is plainly posted on the road. Shana left us fresh eggs, moose burger and sausage jalapeno sticks. Snacks and coffee was also graciously provided. The scenery was spectacular. Our time there was ideal--from kayaking on the lake, hiking, a day trip to Valdez, fishing, relaxing in the hammock, to our fish fry and smores on the open fire.
