"Great room"

"Our party of three's primary critique of this location speaks towards lacking cleanliness and responsiveness of the staff. We checked in after 9 PM / 21:00 EST, and the evening clerk was helpful and courteous. The next morning, on waking, one of our party was looking for an outlet near the room's loveseat to be able to charge their phone while having their morning coffee. On moving the couch out an inch to see the wall, they were treated to the view of some prior hotel guest's pair of glasses and a used prophylactic both apparently missed by the cleaning staff. We left the sofa pulled out for easy access and line of sight, then stopped by the front desk after caffeine with a picture on our phones to let them know and request that a member of staff with access to appropriate PPE remove both items. The clerk at the desk looked at the phone, indicated understanding of the problem and our room number, and that it would be handled. When we returned in the evening, both were still present. In fact it wasn't until the last evening that we found the sofa pushed back to the wall again, and while the spectacles had been removed, the used condom had not been. An unfortunate few days of doubtful cleanliness to the whole facility, and the sincerity of the desk management. We cannot recommend this hotel. "

"Upon arrival, the property looked disgusting. I regretfully decided to give it a chance. It is very run down. For check in I had to wait behind a bulletproof window so they can figure out the best and most accommodating room to give me.The parking lot was empty, but it made sense to her to give us a room on the 2nd floor, in the back of the building. It was pretty much as far away as you can get from check in. It was difficult to find the room as there were no signs to show what room number was down each hallway and the hallways seemed to not be in numerical order like most places are. The room hadn't been cleaned. The sheets, blanket, everything in the room for that matter, smelled like dirty laundry.The plastic to enclose the mattress, for which I assume was for a bed bug issue, was unzipped. Further inspection revealed the zipper was missing. The curtains, walls, refrigerator, microwave were questionable stains. Also there was only 1 half roll of toilet paper and no towels. There were cigarette burns all over. The hair dryer didn't work. Paint was just slopped on the walls. One positive thing I noticed, there was a fresh garbage bag in the bathroom. No bag in the other garbage can though. In hindsight, I guess it's positive I didn't see any roaches. At 10pm there were 3 cop cars in the parking lot, some kind of bust. THE PICTURES ARE DECEIVING. Save yourself money and the disgust, go elsewhere. Trust the bad reviews. "

"overall, it was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. Housekeeping is very accommodating. The HVAC system is a little sketchy though. We had a regular room and a handicap room. The regular room would not switch from AC to heat so i just left it off since it wasn't very cold. The handicap room would switch back and forth from heat to AC and not hold a consistent set temperature. it was set on 75 but would switch to 72. I was given some complicated explanation for it. I was offered a heater and a technician to come and look at it. Unfortunately, space heaters aren't permitted as they can be a fire hazard so I don't know why he offered it. They did address the heating issue however and we never had another problem. The layout design for the location of handicap rooms is interesting. They are all the way at the far end of the hallway when you get off of one of the elevators and if you use the elevator that lets you off right at the rooms, you still have to go all the way to the far end of the hallway. So if difficulty in walking is your handicap, bring a wheelchair or you're screwed! Once you get into the handicap room, it gets interesting as well. The light switch to the bathroom is located next to the room door, not in or near the bathroom, but behind the bathroom door it when it's open. The toilet isn't a high one so there's difficulty in getting off of the commode, And there's a regular bathtub/shower instead of a walk-in shower so bathing was out!"

"I had to keep loading the internet because it kept going out. Breakfast was ok. It just ended too early and the dining room was cold. They don't allow you to take your food up to your room. So I had to eat in a cold dining room with a lady and her dog! I'm guessing it was an emotional support dog or something because they didn't say anything about her bringing it in the dining room with her. I was told that there are no animals on the 3rd floor when I asked for a room on the 4th floor. Somehow, I heard barking throughout the day and evening coming from the lady's dog with whom I had breakfast who were also on the 3rd floor!"

"You can tell that this place is old and in need of renovations. If you need a quick and inexpensive place to stay, this may work. My room was falling apart. Chipping paint, bathtub peeling, needs a remodel. I saw a few small roaches in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and checking was easy. Very close to a dozen food options and a weed store literally in the parking lot. "
