"Room was really nice. Clean. Beds were comfy and linens were crisp and new feeling."

"Horribly stinky - think cats and mustiness. We tried opening windows around the house to let some fresh air in, and we could only locate two that opened and/or had screens. We were afraid to open a window with no screen because there were so many neighborhood cats roaming, we were fearful they would come inside. Clearly, the hosts know it smells horribly because there were "plug ins" all over the house trying to cover the odor (failing miserably). The outside property was unkept - shredded awnings, overgrown weeds, broken window frames, peeling paint on the whole house. The ad speaks of a porch to sit on - the cloth chairs were filthy, and the porch had seen better days. Towels and washcloths were left in each room which was nice. Extra bath towels were left on the washer, but we couldn't locate any more washcloths. After we checked in on Friday, the host texted that the washer was broken but if we needed it, they could have it installed the next day. Luckily, we didn't need it (except for the washcloths) and because we didn't want to deal with it, we asked to have the delivery postponed until after our stay. Many of the bulbs in the fixtures were burned out, so it was incredibly dark in every room. Pros - The bathrooms, refrigerator, and sheets and towels were clean. The location was great, but it was a completely disappointing & disgusting stay. It was extraordinarily expensive for what we had to endure, and we couldn't wait to leave."

"We stayed 2 nights in room 128. It's the bottom floor, very close to the parking lot. Easy to get in and out. The window in the room didn't lock and had no screen on it. Seemed like a safe neighborhood. But it needs to be fixed. The room wasn't the cleanest but iv seen worse. Not too many channels on the TV. Half of them wouldn't come in. And the paper channel guide doesn't match the channels. Lots of restaurants around it. The mall is close. Hillbilly hotdogs its a dive but you have check it out. No bugs and no bed bugs. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure about that. There's a Cracker Barrel across the street, good as always. Safe travels"

"The property was scary. It might have been the clientele but my daughter and I slept with our pepper gel and stun gun out while putting the chair in front of the door. The Days Inn next door look better kept. I won’t be staying there again. Also the smoke detector what hanging off the wall. I don’t even know if it worked. There was almost an inch gap under the door into the room. Definitely don’t stay in that room since any critter could come in. I’m sure during the winter, it would be fun staying warm in that room. Just so you can get an idea how many times I’ll be staying in the area, my daughter will be going to school in Huntington."
