"Recently travelled to Tennessee, spending one night each in various hotels, over 4 nights. This hotel stood out as our favorite! The property was clean and well-maintained, the hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were great. We took advantage of the complementary movie theatre on site, and were served fresh popcorn. Beds were comfortable, rooms had all we needed, and we're happy to recommend this property to others travelling in the area."

"Had never been in a "tiny house" before, though my wife and I live fulltime in a large fifth wheel trailer. It was a unique experience to have everything so close. The cabin is well-kept and extremely clean. I would recommend staying there for anyone needing to be in that area of Tennessee. Very nice garden area right by the forest (see photo) and the bird feeder was a plus, since it was very active with local birds."

"This is a great little cabin that my wife and I really enjoyed during our few nights in the area. The property is very private and quiet, so it was very peaceful when we were there in the evenings after a long day. The host is great and was very easy to communicate with through the vrbo app during our stay. Thanks, for being a great host, Joe!"

"Jon was great in responding to 1 day ahead booking (for Oct 1 & 2 2026). We liked the decor (nice choice of colors). It was fun to use a “tiny house ladder.”We wished that there was an extender to the main ( yellow) house’s wi-fi due to area having spotty internet coverage. Also 1-2 luggage racks would be good since there are no closets or dressers.We were in town for a wedding & would book again if we were in the area again"

"This is a GREAT property with a FANTASTIC host! My siblings and I (ranging in ages 56-65) get together once a year, and this year we selected this home for our reunion. We weren't disappointed.A few notes for those using this review to decide if this property is right for them:1. The house sits next door to the host's home, so if you're looking for a place without neighbors, this might not work for you. 2. The home has a giant back yard that abuts the lake. There is a large fire pit between the home and the lake. If you plan to use it, I recommend buying pre-split logs to burn.3. On the main floor, there are two bedrooms - one with a private bath. The remaining beds, including one private bedroom, are located downstairs. The stairs to the downstairs are VERY steep. If you have mobility issues, you can access the downstairs from outside.4. The kitchen, dining, and living room area is open concept - perfect for cooking and hanging out together.5. Decatur, with grocery shopping (Piggly Wiggly), bowling, etc. is about 20 minutes away. Mini-golf is in Athens, about 30 minutes away.6. The main t.v. is mounted over a fireplace, and so connecting HDMI (X-Box, laptop, etc.) can be a challenge for shorter people.7. The home is on a septic system, so no wet-wipes! 8. The large covered deck at the rear of the house is perfect for sitting and drinking coffee. There is lots of seating out there.9. We didn't use the pool or hot tub.Bottom line - a great place at a fair price!"

"The home is everything we hoped it would be for our family gathering. Everyone enjoyed the relaxing evenings on the back porch watching the sunset. So much so, 3 out of 4 fell asleep out there! Plenty or rooms and space 9 people. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Scott had fantastic communication with us before and during our stay. If you're looking for a lovely home by the lake and enjoy peace and quiet, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, this is the home you need to rent!! 10/10!!!"
