"The hotel was warm, no a/c in the hallways and it had a musty smell. They have events in their ballrooms which were too loud you could hear on the second floor. They changed my sheets but not the towels, had to ask for new towels. The front desk staff were very nice. The a/c in room was loud. Only one double hook to hang towels and rags. The staff and maintenance were talking loud and cursing in the hallways while working. With some training and small changes this could actually be a great hotel. No one pays that type of money to here loud music and vulgar language while they’re sleeping."

"When I arrived, the grounds were inviting and very well maintained. Upon entrance to the lobby, it looked very clean and updated, and the front desk agent was very pleasant. After that, it pretty much went downhill. I stayed in room 107 on the first floor. The hallway had a lot of wear and tear. Since this was on the first floor, a lot of customers may enter from the side door so I can understand why this particular hallway would be more challenging to keep maintained. But as I enter the room, it got worse. One of the first things I noticed were the baseboards were coming away from the wall from water damage. This was in the bathroom and the bedroom areas. Also the bottom of the refrigerator door was rusty. It almost looked like the room had been flooded at sometime or another. The furniture was very worn and torn. The bedskirt had what look like white paint splattered on it…. I didn’t want to check. The TV did not work. It would turn on, but it said no signal. There were no instructions for the TV. Also looked for an additional remote, but none was found. Also, the thermostat did not seem to work. The temperatures had dropped to the low 40s and I switched the thermostat to heat, but the heat never came on. The pictures can illustrate better than I can. "Friendly staff. Hotel under construction so that was an inconvenience. Pool not maintained well. The breakfast was not a great experience. Nothing hot except pancakes. No hot eggs, meat, potatoes either. That was disappointing."

"Room was emaculate and very comfortable. Outside building could use some repairs, but rooms were lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Waffle iron was not on. Coffee was lightly colored water, but when I mentioned it to staff worker she offered coffee from the kitchen while waiting for the coffee machine to be repaired. Al in all our stay was very comfortable and very affordable."

"Staff asked if we would like the room cleaned and refreshed in between nights. We said yes. It was not done. When we mentioned this at check out nothing was offered other than a “sorry”. It would have been very nice to have fresh towels!! Had to call for maintenance on the shower. Mattress was very comfortable!"
