Nice place to stay: quiet room, friendly staff, wifi is very good, breakfast is good.
Everything was very clean and the staff was super friendly.
We loved the indoor parking! We had a van full of equipment so we felt much safer in the underground, and with it being November, this was definitely a bonus. The only thing I found a bit strange was that there was no entry carpet or a shoe rack to put our wet shoes on when we got into the ...

If you’re flying into Fort McMurray or the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, odds are you’re arriving at Fort McMurray International Airport (YMM).
Fort McMurray Airport has a number of attractions for you to see before and after your flights in or out of the facility.
The airport itself offers 16 food and shopping options, as well as professional art installations by leading Canadian artists. It’s also an environmentally sustainable complex, designed to conserve energy and reduce the overall footprint left behind by the airport and the passengers it serves. You won’t be spending all your time at the airport, though; just 12.2 km east is Vista Ridge All Seasons Park. During the summer, this is one of the local hot spots for forested adventure, where you can zip line, climb, and jump from tree to tree (while wearing safety harnesses, of course). In the winter, Vista Ridge becomes a snow-lover’s playground, with eight trails and a five-lane tube park. You can even go snowshoeing!
Some 8 km to the west of the airport is the Oil Sands Discovery Centre. Fort McMurray and its surrounding areas are located atop the Athabasca oil sands, and at the Discovery Centre you can wander through the exhibit hall, or watch an oil sands extraction demonstration. You’ll also get an up-close look at some of the gigantic machines that do much of the work.
Know what else you should take a close look at? The rates you’ll get when you book a Fort McMurray hotel via Expedia.ca. We’ll get you a cheap hotel deal for your visit to this northern territory, no matter how long you’re staying. Get your vacation off to a great start and put the money you save toward something more fun, like another visit to Vista Ridge.
