Did not live up to expectations

Traveled to Fort Lauderdale to go on a cruise and decided to stay an extra 2 nights to check out the area. Based on the pictures and previous 5 star reviews, my family of 6 (the youngest being 16 yrs old) were looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations the listing set. Cons: -The AC was off when we arrived so the house was extremely hot! One of the bedrooms never really cooled off.-Wifi stopped working on the 2nd day and came back on the morning we left-Ant infestation in the bathrooms and master bedroom-Broken tiles in master bathroom-2nd shower head in master bathroom is not installed correctly and not spraying water -Pool equipment had been turned off for who knows how long, it was incredibly dirty, the water was super cloudy, and it was so low on water it didn't reach the skimmer-Backyard had trash all over (water bottle lids, cannabis wrappers, TP, etc) and the grass hadn't been mowed. All of the backyard games had been thrown haphazardly into the shed-Couldn't open the door to the backyard that was in the master bed. Had to get to the backyard through the master bathroom-No soap at any bathroom sink-Only 1.5 baths not 2.5 (only full bath is the master bath, then you have a toilet and shower together and a sink in the hallway right outside of that room)-Firepit unusablePros:-Clean washer/dryer-Area is okay, close to things-Beds, dishes, towels cleanOverall, not what we thought we'd get for the price!

The host was absolutely amazing. The host was attentive and responsive. The place beautifully kept with lots of privacy. Felt like we were in our own little island. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a small cute getaway!
