We are from the area, so we were familiar, but she still took the time... She was very helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay, even though we were there for a family funeral... We have held family functions here before, so we love the upgrades and will be in contact with you all again in the future... Thank you for having us - The Wells Family..."

"One of the best equipped kitchens in a rental house we have ever stayed in. The house is not close to a lot so a lot of driving is necessary if you want to see things beyond the property, we didnt mind though. We welcomed the quiet and silence for the week. We loved that our furry baby was allowed to come with. The outdoor spotlights did not do anything to provide light at night, that was our one complaint. Also that the pool light didnt work so we couldnt be in the wonderful pool after dark. Wonderful historic property."

The backyard is such an awesome surprise with a pergola, outside dining, fire pit and outdoor furniture. You will truly feel like you are staying in a home and not a rental. "Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. The hot tub beneath the treehouse was also really great."
