![The Armenistis Lighthouse is at the northern and western part of the island above the homonymous cape. Access is easy with asphalt and at the end a very passable dirt road and walking for about 100 meters. The construction of the lighthouse was decided when an English ship was wrecked in the north of the island and lost 11 members of the crew.
The lighthouse was built in 1891. It has a tower of 19 meters and focal height 184 meters. The house next to the lighthouse has several rooms which housed the current lighthouse keepers and often their families. The original mechanism of the lighthouse was of French origin and won the international exhibition in Paris. After the war - 1945 - it worked with petrol until 1982 when it was electrified. Today it is fully automated and the original mechanism is housed in the Aegean Maritime Museum located at the Three Pigadia in Mykonos Town.
The site has wild beauty and offers panoramic views of Tinos, the Aegean Sea and a beautiful sunset in the afternoon.

"La piscine principale n'était pas propre et pas correctement entretenue. Le mobilier autour de la piscine était tâché et mal entretenu. La chambre était sale à notre arrivée (taches sur le sol et cheveux partout dans la salle de bain, joints de la cabine de douche très sales, taches de moisissures sur le mur de la salle de bains!!). Le temps d'attente au petit-déjeuner était beaucoup trop long. L'accès à la plage est un peu long et compliqué à pied (il faut traverser un bar de plage). Pour le prix payé (hôtel très cher) la qualité des prestations proposées n'était pas au rendez-vous ! Le personnel n'a pas non plus répondu correctement à nos attentes. Réponse apportée pour les tâches de moisissures dans la salle de bain : "c'est normal nous sommes sur une île et c'est humide!)". Le rapport qualité / prix n'est pas du tout convenable pour cet hôtel qui prétend être haut de gamme. "

"Le logement était absolument identique au descriptif et photos. Le personnel a été agréable. Le petit déjeuner super. Prévoir un véhicule afin de pouvoir bouger en centre ville et découvrir un tas de choses (nous avons choisi un Quad, personnellement, et c'était le top !). Les 5 jours ont été merveilleux, hors période estivale... Donc je n'ose même pas imaginer durant un été !"
