"The Lincoln cabin was perfect!!! It was clean , cozy and quiet. With every amenity needed to just get away. The host did a great job with upgrades and had the heat on and ready for my arrival. He even plowed a new snowfall just before my departure. I'm looking forward to going back!"

"This is a dump, run by an owner is difficult to understand. When I arrived the "24 hour" front desk was abandoned. After 10 minutes of banging on the door to an office, the disheveled owner came out in a dirty, stained polo shirt and sweat pants. Although I had prepaid for the room on Hotels.com, he insisted he had no room for me. After watching him struggle on an old laptop to find his reservations, he told me he could not refund what I had already paid, and didn't have a room. This junky motel should not be listed on Hotels.com"

"Last minute we decided to get away. We were able to book this for the weekend without any trouble. We brought our two goldens with us and had a great time. Higgins Lake is a special place I had not heard of before our stay. We fell in love and will be back. The lake house was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. I highly suggest taking a long walk around the neighborhood and down to the lake. It is beautiful! Overall, I would stay here again, and I would recommend this place to a friend. "
