"First thing that made me go wow was how beautiful the hostel was. The ambient lights were a good touch. My oh my the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hostel. The lockers are very good and easy to use, safe and secure. The staffs were super friendly and were always willing to help me out. It is an amazing hostel suitated in a prime location with quick access to both central station and queens Street rail station. If you're Canadian like me there a Tim Hortons."

"I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...

"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. Front desk was very helpful. "

"I loved the ambiance of this place. It was in a convenient spot as it was only 5 min walk from many of our tour meeting spots and sights we wanted to see. "Good location by the river in the city centre. The apartment was very functional, clean and comfortable. It was as well very quiet and soundproof. The decoration of the room was a bit sad though and would need more touches of colour. The view was on the backyard over the refusal bins which wasn’t that nice. The staff was great and very helpful. "The hotel boasts the best location for tourists among branded hotels in Royal Mile Edinburgh. We took a three-day hiking trip to Loch Ness and came back at 6pm. The drop-off point at Lawnmarket is just 2 minutes walking from the hotel, so that we still had a lot of time in early evening to revisit the Edinburgh old town center. On the second day, we had to take an early flight back to Seattle, and the airlink stop to the airport was just 10 minutes walking from the hotel. "
