There was a staff member (Leo) who came out and offered to help me when I arrived. The room itself intrinsically is shared, but I was fortunate that only one other person was sleeping in the room that evening and he was nice. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was clean. The showers were fairly clean, more dated than anything but I didn't feel unsafe at all and they had everything that's needed (of note, their soap smelled weird -- I used my own). I had a hard time sleeping as well, but I think my body was just off from the trip; do bring an eye mask though since you don't know when lights will be on, plus in my room I was right by the window and had to keep the window and curtains open a bit or else it got very warm-- thus there was additional light from outside. Overall though, this was a pretty decent hostel and I felt safe/it had plenty of parking. It had everything I needed really, I was comfortable.
