It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. "All of the beds had clumps of dirt, sand, and what looked like dog hair in the sheets. The dishes were filthy and thrown in the cabinet. The trash cans had garbage in them. We ran out of dish soap. There were no extra trash bags in the premises. Directions to the property could have been more clear. For the price we paid for two nights and the condition of the home when we arrived, we were very disappointed."

Had a little trouble originally finding the place. But once there, it was easy to navigate in and out of property. The window heat pump unit is excellent cus I needed AC in the afternoons and heat in the mornings. You will hear some animal noises periodically during the night, but you located inside a fenced property so you are safe. The cabin has all the amenities you need, even WIFI router, which I realized a few days into the stay. Mary is a great communicator and very friendly, her dogs are super friendly, they greet you as one of the family, very gentle.i had a great trip with my dog in Emience, we saw alot of first time attractions. The landscape in Emience is very beautiful along with Mary's property. Nothing but happy times :-)"
