A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. My daughter and I were going out very early one morning and thought we would miss breakfast so Sean/owner made us bacon sandwiches and put cartons of juice in the fridge to take with us! The breakfasts were tasty too, full english and poached eggs on toast. We were greeted each morning by the owners two donkeys. We enjoyed sightings of squirrels, rabbits, and a green woodpecker. Really enjoyed my stay here, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I was to really, really 'nitpick' the WiFi signal was a little weak and I ended up reverting back to my mobile data, but everything else was brilliant and I'll definitely be booking here again if and when the opportunity arises. Delicious home cooked breakfast arranged the night before. Secluded property off a gravel lane with only nature's noise to be heard. A real off-the-beaten-path gem. Loved being able to see donkeys, rabbits, and other wildlife right from my window. Great shower, warm bedding, and comfortable bed. Only qualm was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear some other guests chatting in the middle of the night, but wasn't too loud so was still able to sleep. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed.
