« We were pleasantly surprised with this property! While the other review is correct, and the property lacks creature comforts such as bedside lamps, throw pillows, pantry essentials and nice linen, it is clean, well-laid out, and a fabulous house for a family to stay at. In fact, not having meant furnishings meant we could completely relax without worrying about whether our kids would break stuff! We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, and the bedding configurations meant we could easily accomodate...

« The apartment is spacious and has clearly been recently up-dated and equipped. It had everything that we needed for our 4-day stay. It was spotlessly clean and our host, Rod, made the arrival and check-in process very simple. Rod was also available for any questions. The apartment is well located to explore Lismore on foot and, being on the road in from Ballina, the surrounding area by car. Very highly recommended. »

« Evans Head just large enough to have the essentials, small enough not to be a hustle and bustle.Unit was just far enough out of town for a enjoyable walk along the beach, shop for supplies, coffee and pies and a stroll home.Lovel walks along Airforce Beach morning and evening.Sitting back on the balcony enjoying the latest book. »

« We really appreciated the opportunity to relax in this well presented house. The garden was a great spot for a cuppa & just listening to birdsong. The location made it walkable to all that we needed including the local pool & gym. We hope to visit again soon. »

« Very comfortable and clean house with amazing views x Lots of room for a large family with seperate upstairs and downstairs spaces for different age groups. We thoroughly enjoyed our week with plenty of local walks and drives to nearby beaches. The local RSL and Hotel Illawong were great for evening meals and free bbq’s at the lookout were in very close proximity to the house. Will definately stay again x »

« We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Haven. Convenient to main streets for food and for fishing spots. Beds in unit are really uncomfortable though. Mattresses hard and beds squeak. Having the pool straight outside the back gate was fantastic!! Also great to have the bbq. Overall we were really happy and would stay there again (hoping for more comfy beds). »
