The Sanderling

"The Sanderling is a nice resort. It sits on the beach and has a great view of the sun rise in the mornings. The staff is very friendly. They will happily setup chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you. The resort is a bit dated. The fencing around the property is aged. The room was very nice and clean. There are a lot of dead bugs and spiders everywhere. The balcony sliding door has dead bugs in the slider which could use a clean up. We did not use the amenities like the pool, hot tub, or gym. There are two close by restaurants next door and across the street. The drinks at the outdoor bar were a bit outrageous. One virgin pina colada and one margarita was $40 with tip. Overall a nice resort but a bit overpriced in my opinion."

"Room did what it needed to do for a visit to Elizabeth City for ECSU Homecoming. Room was clean enough, parking was plentiful, location was close to everything (at most 15 minutes away) that I needed to do while in the city. Met my needs for this visit."
