"Very basic accommodation, old and very dated. The unit we stayed in had a sloping floor and bathroom basin needed replacement. Setting was stunning, however our cabin was very close to jumping pillow and there was construction work going on all day. Overall accomodation was disappointing. "
"There are unwritten rules on this site.
The terms and conditions stated extra person staying is $20 per person per night. We only find out on second day with staff on site that there’s a hard limit of three person for our cabin. So us four staying goes against the owners insurance policy. We managed to communicate and paid $80 for the four nights and continue to stay. But the communication was not quite pleasant.
There’s no written rules about camping cartridge gas stoves or coal bbq stove. However we were also verbally advised that they were both not allowed. We note the solid fuel bbq is banned but we believe the cartridge gas stove should be allowed. We did not argue and we comply to what has been advised, did not used neither the stoves. It would be better to be transparent upfront on terms and conditions though.
I also received phone call communication from staff about my kids being noisy in the morning, on second day 8:30am. I felt this may be directed to me falsely, because both my kids were in another cabin building (where our friends stays) on that morning. There is no noise from our room.
The scooter rule with helmets on was strict. Be mindful to bring helmets for kids scooter use. Otherwise you will get tell off your scooter / balance bots / bikes.
Aside from that, the site is situated on beautiful landscape and is a peaceful place to stay. We love Denmark, one of our favourite WA holiday spots. "
"The property had two lock boxes. One was on the wall of the house and other was on veranda post facing house. The one the on house was an old one and did not work. We did not see the new till the caretaker told us about.Remove old one and tell tenants were the new one is this will save confusion."
