The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv, Slættaratindur, or many other places of interset for visitors. While nice and secluded, the nearest grocery or Rusan's is only \~16-20 minutes away." The shower is very small and you will be unable to stand upright in it- you just gotta sit to shower. Despite the few quirks, we absolutely loved this boathouse stay. It's a once in a life time experience and the views are astounding. We would spend the long nights sitting outside with binoculars looking at boats, yachts, birds, and every once in a while a fish jumping out of the water. Highly recommend for a very unique stay.
