"McIntosh Country Inn was surprisingly amazing and a real hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially the gentleman that fulfilled my request for a quiet and private space for a meeting in the evening I could not take from my room. Also, the riverfront park and walkways are an incredible way to experience a gorgeous portion of the magnificent and historical St. Lawrence River. This was actually a huge surprise for us and a real unexpected treat in the community. The restaurant was also superb with a great and cheap - that’s right cheap - happy hour with $5/$6 pints of beer and the best liver and onion dinner I’ve ever had. And nope I’m not a senior, just love it! "

We were pleasantly surprised when the General Manager took the time to personally greet us and inquire about our stay — a thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed. A particularly memorable touch was the personalized welcome message displayed on the television upon our arrival, which added a unique and warm element to our visit. The team managing the complimentary breakfast was efficient and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to our day. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would gladly return."
