  • Bright and modern two bedroom flat located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Newington. Delightfully decorated and fully-equipped, this 3rd-floor (there is no lift) flat is perfect for 2-4 guests for both short and longer term stays.

    This stylish, yet comfortable, flat will most certainly make you feel at home. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need should you wish to eat in and the extendable dining table provides the perfect space for this. If you are visiting in the winter months, the beautiful fireplace will help you to feel nice and cosy. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds with linen and towels provided.

    Guests will have access to the entire property.

Nous passions 2 jours à Édimbourg avant de rejoindre les Highlands... Appartement top, très bien équipé,bien décoré, très propre,proche de la veille ville mais au calme... Propriétaire réactifs aux messages de renseignements... Je recommande vivement ce logement

Excellent location, a short walk into old town, Edinburgh. Everything was exactly as described, and the host did a terrific job of providing thorough information on all the amenities in the flat. Great place to stay just a little bit challenging for parking.

We had a lovely stay at Lucy's apartment. Everything was spotless and as pictured in the listing. Very close to bus stop made it convenient to get around Edinburgh with no bother. Definitely would stay again...even with the 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment! Thanks Lucy.

Our stay at Lucy's apartment was wonderful. It is bright and spacious, with everything on hand that you might need. As others have said, there are three flights of steep spiral stairs to access this top floor apartment, so if you have mobility issues this probably won't be your best option. Great communication from Lucy, with clear instructions for accessing the property and about how everything works. I can not fault anything and wholeheartedly recommend this property.

This property was perfect for our short trip to Edinburgh, not too far to walk into the centre and a supermarket across the road. The apartment was clean, warm and extremely comfortable. Lucy was an excellent host, communication was excellent. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

This was an ideal place to stay. The location was great, close to bus stops, close to good restaurants, close to a grocery store. The kitchen had all of the dishes, utensils, coffee machine, etc. that one could want. The living room was a nice size to be able to spread out and relax. There were two bedrooms, a large master bedroom and smaller additional one. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The building was quiet inside. There was very little noise from outside. The room is on the third floor so be aware there are stairs to climb.

The location information was inadequate and UBER got lost trying to find it. We didn't have the apt number or instructions. It would have been very helpful to know that it was apt 5 and that it required climbing three flights of winding stairs with heavy luggage. Once we got in, things were OK.

This was a great apartment for our stay in Edinburgh! Very spacious, clean, and colourful! One thing we noted was that there was a faint smoky smell wafting through the apartment occasionally, most likely from other apartments in the building. But this did not negatively impact our overall experience. Host was very responsive and helpful!The area of Newington felt very safe and calm, and we were only a 25min walk from Edinburgh’s Old Town. There was also a small grocery store and lots of food options within 5min walking distance. Would happily stay here again!

Lucy is a wonderful host, very communicative and all info super clear. Top floor, so be prepared for that, but a beautiful building, lovely view of the hills over the rooftops and a very comfortable and clean flat. Suited us perfectly. Lovely area too. Lots of local independent cafes. Great bus connections. Would 100% be my first choice if in Edinburgh again.

Great Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucy and James apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well equiped with everything we needed. The walk to the Royal Mile and Castle is an easy 20 minute stroll with plenty of cafes and bars along the way. Communication was excellent and check in and out went very smoothly. We would definitely return and highly recommend this lovely apartment.
