I would recommend the area but you need to know well ahead where the golf courses are and recommend areas of entertainment.

Easy Short Term Stay

This location was great and the space was clean and simple. We enjoyed having the space and being able to walk through the club/neighborhood for exercise. I personally loved that there is a fan next to the bed. Made my sleep great! Please note: as a guest you do not have access to members bar/restaurant, but the Ritz Carlton is open to public for lunch and dinner.

Business Trip

Had a nice stay here during a recent business trip to lake oconee. Check in and everything was easy. The unit itself was great! There was a small kitchen with full size fridge which turned out good. The patio was great to sit out in the mornings, before the golfers got out for the day. Very quite neighborhood. The only thing needed was a trash can in the bathroom but other than that the unit has everything you need for a nice getaway.

Not what we expected

It was not really a one bedroom but rather a studio. It had no closet, no toilet paper, an ironing board but no iron, no tissues and a back french door that the lock was broken and didn't lock. The location was beautiful and nicely appointed. I think that it would be helpful to include a map of exactly where the ammenities were located. I did contact the owner regarding the lock and she sent someone to fix it eventually.

The pictures of this unit are very deceiving. We understood from the beginning this was an efficiency but it looked spacious. We could not check in when we arrived because the A/C unit had stopped working. It took two days to “replace” but it still did not cool the unit down to a comfortable temperature. They did allow us to stay at another property 20min away. There is no washer/dryer in the unit. The shower leaks all over the floor so we used our towels to minimize the flow. Without a washer/dryer, we had to drive to my sister’s house to wash them and borrow more. There are only a few towels in the unit. We decided to just use the shower at her place. We rented in Cuscowilla for the convenience of being close to family. The neighborhood is beautiful but we cannot recommend this condo unit.

Good location, wouldn’t stay again

Pots/pans/utensils not found until checking out. Bathroom floor rugs not clean, torn/ stained bedding but sheets were nice. No pillow case for extra pillow. Kleenex box would be good. Size of bed is full size?
