"The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly - they made a big difference between an average stay and a terrific stay. "Nice new hotel, so everything was spot on, good location, my only gripe was that I checked in online to ‘save time’ in their words, but as typical in Slovakia check in was a long drawn out process where I had to show everything I had already put into online check in, so you basically wasted my time rather than saving any!"

Family vacation in zakopane

"This is our third visit and a favorite of our kids when we are in zakopane. We take full advantage of the attached water park each time. One thing that was different this visit is that our room reservation did not include breakfast. This caused confusion and and uncomfortable atmosphere when we did arrive at the restaurant for breakfast as we were questioned several times if we were aware that we had to pay additionally (we were, we were explained this at check in, and requested to have breakfast added for all in our party for both nights of stay). Still, we were stopped and questioned each morning at the restaurant. This should be handled better. Would definitely recommend double/triple checking your reservation to ensure this is included or calling the restaurant ahead to avoid confusion and embarrassment. "
