"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

"The property could do with an upgrade on the kitchen section - only a two section hotplate, basic kettle and general kitchen implements; no oven - all a bit surprising really for a 'Luxury Apartment'. Bathroom, Lounge and Bedroom were fine and more luxurious. Excelent location for a short walk to attractions and excellent aircon which was a must."

"The apartment is Traditional Sicilian, spacious, clean, well equipped and benefits from an elevator. The host is Carmelo, a really nice guy who offers a very warm welcome. The views of Isola Bella and surrounding mountains from the balcony are stunning. The beach is stony so take beach shoes. The Isola Bella has a visitor centre with a fee of 5€ (super value) There are minimarkets, restaurants and snack bars in the immediare vicinity. Taormina is popular with tourists and this is wher e the bus...

"The authentic Italian apartment was amazing. Right across the street from a grocery store. Has 3 small balconies. Communication with the property owners has limited hours only to 6pm and then 8pm with customer service so with a 6hour time difference (during initial booking) it was a bit of a delay sometimes. Having said that they were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this unit. "

Riccardo who welcomed us was fantastic, friendly, relaxed and recommended some great places (chiodo is great) We didn't try the kitchen and I'm not sure the kettle works... washing machine works fine. One little issue if you want to sleep early is that you're just above a restaurant that will have...

"It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."
