"Let me start by saying that the place is impressive. I was looking forward to my stay after booking. The biggest issue: the room was hot. I struggled to fall asleep on the amazingly comfortable bed due to the room being so hot. I did lower the thermostat, but the room just never cooled off. There was also cobwebs in the bathroom....I want to go back and maybe request a different room.....I wanted to give a 3 star across the board, but the property was so impressive I just couldn't go that low....the lack of personal staff interaction was also annoying."

"We stayed for two nights. We used the valet parking. All the staff at Valet were very friendly. The roof top restaurant was closed due to remodeling. It was very quiet for the most part except the fire alarm went off the first morning. When we asked about it they first told us it was a test but then it ended up being the engine room was overheating. We would stay there again if we are ever in the area."

"I loved staying at this historic, old world hotel for a week.The rooms are elegant, clean and spacious. I was in town doing wedding planning with my daughter and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & accommodating. I felt so special. My husband could not be there, so I was traveling alone, yet always felt safe and comfortable. Their drivers were top-notch gentlemen who took me anywhere I needed and promptly picked me up. Their 2 restaurants were wonderful & spiced pecans are out of this world! I’ll be sure to return here each time I visit! Highly recommend!!!"
