"Mixed Review... Hotel was clean, but some of the staff was rude. Initial room not stocked with toiletries and Heat/Air didn't work. Moved to a second room, but that room was smaller. Pool was nice. Continental breakfast was poorly stocked with some items already gone. "

"We arrived at the 4pm check-in time and it took less than 5 minutes. The room was clean and the king size bed and pillows was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and everything was delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel in you're staying in Charleston, WV. Also, it is within walking distance to the Town Center Colosseum - very convenient. "

"Clean, family friendly, location was great for our tournament at the Shawnee Sports Complex in Dunbar. There’s a pool table and fooseball table downstairs for kids or adult entertainment, two levels of deck to lounge on, plenty of parking although the garage was unusable (locked). The home was built in the early 2000’s so it could use some tlc but nothing that negatively affected our stay. Had all of the necessary amenities, host was easy to contact, check in/out was easy. Home was clean. "

"How do you put someone on the 2nd floor in a building w/no elevator??? I had to go up stairs to get bags and luggage in : oh and the internet service would NOT WORK!!! it’s a no for me "

"The staff was excellent"

"First off, if you put the address listed for them on their website it will bring you to an H&R Block. Then when you try to call the hotel to find out where the building is, you will get someone in a call center giving you the same directions as your GPS until they begrudgingly transfer you to the actual hotel. Then they will give you the actual location. The staff is very nice ( the most redeeming quality of the hotel). The lobby and elevator are pretty rough looking. The room I stayed in has seen better days (peeling ceilings, hole in the wall of the shower) but it was clean (again I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have). Overall for the price it wasn’t bad, you can’t expect the Ritz for 80 bucks. "
