Mornings came with the sounds of howler monkeys, and evenings by the river were filled with frogs, which added to the atmosphere. The hotel has a great restaurant, and eating outside in the evenings was very enjoyable. Bug spray is a must, but the geckos on the patio ceiling were clearly doing their best to keep the mosquitoes in check. Overall, it was an easy, relaxing stay, and we’d be happy to come back."
