The hotel is clean, but the sheets were not very clean. The staff were nice. The area around the hotel is terrible— if you leave the hotel and take a right on Purcell street, it gets unbelievably sketchy. I would not say it is safe for a solo female traveler. The rooms are incredibly small with very few outlets.

Good location near O'Connell; easy walk from airport bus stop even with luggage. Relatively easy walk to Temple Bar area. Lots of shopping in area. Room was compact but comfortable, modern, and clean. Helpful staff for ordering early morning taxi pickup.

Good location, 5-10 mins walk to most local places. Good sports bar 2mins round the corner. Staff were lovely. Clean. Convenient and good for staying if you’re heading on a day out around Dublin.

Point A is centrally located on Parnell close to O'Connell. It's a 5 minute walk to the Hop On and the Big Bus. Not a bad walk to Temple Bar either. Breakfast is not included and expensive. Staff are helpful and considerate, especially Irina. They don't have parking. We were directed to a lot that cost 25 E a day, but our van wouldn't fit. There was a parking lot right across and down the alley from the hotel that also charged the same. Much more convenient.

For my first time ever visiting Ireland, this hotel made it a great experience. I traveled solo and booked the smaller room. Very comfortable, clean and modern. It's in the best area for a hotel: The Aircoach bus stops right around the corner (so easy to get to and from the airport), a grocery store on the other, and plenty of stores and coffee shops to quickly get anything. Everything is in walking distance. This hotel gets an A from me especially, because I had left a jacket in my room after checking out. I called them, and within a half an hour they found it, and then they had it shipped out to me! Very grateful to the staff for that and I can't wait to stay here again the next time I'm in Dublin.

Hotel is a block away from O'Connell street which is one of the main streets in Dublin. There is plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The stop from the airport shuttle is 5-10 away on foot so it is very convenient. The hotel also looks brand new.

The room is teeny tiny. When you open the bathroom door it hits the bed. There is less than a foot between the bed and the wall so impossible to comfortably walk around. This hotel not only offers no amenities but doesn't even have tissues in the room. The breakfast is a cold breakfast which you can put on your teeny tiny 4 inch plate. This hotel should be rated 2 stars at best.

Had a comfy double. Room has the necessities, however it is small. When walking around the bed I had to scoot sideways and lean over the bed a little. If you’re tall you’ll have a hard time using the toilet, the curved wall is about 8 inches away from the toilet. All of the staff was very friendly.

Overall OK. Parking was about a 5-10 minute walk and was 25$ a day at the discounted price. The bed was not comfortable at all and the room was very small. The hotel did not seem to be packed and they put us right next to the door to the elevator and stairwell. Though, the location was perfect that is why I chose it. Great little breakfast in the morning with all that you would need to a quick breakfast.

I’ve stayed in Dublin circa 40 times since 2005 and I honestly believe this is the best hotel I have stayed at. It’s clean, tidy and the staff couldn’t have done more for me if they tried. Such a friendly welcome, hospitality was amazing. I’ll be staying here from now on

The location of the Point A hotel is terrific, easy access on foot, bus, tram, taxi to everything. The staff was exceptionally helpful especially Reese and Irena. The rooms are simply too small to be comfortable. If one person is dressing the other has to be in bed or the bathroom. No wardrobe, no seating. We were there for a week which was 6 days too long.

For the price honestly it was fine, but the bed was the worst part, you could feel every spring and they give you one paper thin pillow. We mostly got out and walked around the city so it was a convenient place to crash, but that's it. The bathroom has a door that's see thru and doesn't lock, but the shower is nice. The lights are all touch pad which is confusing and silly; it never seemed like they did what we wanted them to. The shower is nice.

It’s a lovely hotel, very central but a lot of building work going on and made it difficult to get in and out of the building sometimes. Room didn’t get cleaned one day.

Unfortunately, the hotel did not notify guests that they were under construction. Therefore, the main entrance was inaccessible and it was difficult to find the “set up” (desk in basement) they had. The staff was lovely, however the hallway - I was placed in the basement - was dark and rather dingy. The room itself was modern but unclean. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

it's typical of the way value hotels are designed these days. Stylish and comfortable lobby, Nice bar. Tiny rooms. But as long as you know that's what to expect it's fine. And I thought the room rate for what we had was reasonable. Our room was clean and compact, 1 full bed for 2 people. Bathroom was compact but modern with good shower. The heat worked well. But there was no place to open suitcases other than on the floor and we were stepping over them a bit and stepping around each other. The staff was nice and made a point of being helpful. Most were Eastern European and 1 or 2 could use a little more work on their English. The hotel is at the upper end of O'Connell Street which is walkable to everything we wanted to do and there were plenty of trams and buses within a block. We did wind up walking up and down O'Connell Street several times the first day we arrive and it's not the most interesting street. But the unlimited LEAP card allowed us to just hop on transit after that.

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was the best we had so far in Ireland. Our room was TINY. Two twin beds and barely room to walk around. But comfortable.
