However, it is way in the back of the resort, which might be it's only weak point; it can take 12 to 15 minutes to get to the entrance of BB Ranch. That said, it is quite secluded with spacious surroundings. This home is graciously large and will easily accommodate a family reunion for four couples (4 bedrooms) and four kids (a fifth bedroom). We had seven adults and one baby... and a dog. You will not need to bring anything from your own kitchen; it's fully equipped! The garage is full of bicycles, swimming pool accessories, camping chairs, games, toys and a really nice ping pong table (which we had fun playing). There's even a free-standing basketball hoop. In addition, they have a very nice child carrier backpack; the owners really thought this through. I could say more, but my family kept telling me I could not have found a more perfect home. On a personal note, this visit was intended more as a fly-fishing trip to the Metolius River, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time at BB Ranch, and had a wonderful family dinner at the beautiful Lodge restaurant. ##### FRANK K. We loved the secluded location backing up to the forest, the well-stocked kitchen, all of the kid's toys, games, bikes, and even children's plates/utensils and a closet full of baby equipment. It was a great layout for the 4 families staying to spread out and have their space. We would have given this property 5 stars if it wasn't for the property management, which could have had better customer service. We were disappointed that after a day and a half, we ran out of dishwasher pods (the house was supplied with 4 when we arrived, and in a house with 13 people, you can imagine we had to run the dishwasher twice a day), paper towels, and were down to our last 2 rolls of toilet paper. When we called Vacasa to request more of these basic items, we were told that they do not supply refills on amenities and we needed to go purchase our own. We were disappointed, to say the least, that after paying so much to stay at a high-end home, we were on our own to go out and buy dishwasher soap, paper towels and toilet paper - all very basic necessities. ##### Shelley R. Comfortable beds, huge living room, dining room, and outdoor space. The house is located at the other end of Black Butte Ranch from the main entrance, meaning it was a 15 min drive to get from the house to the main road, and then 15 min to get into Sisters (30 min total). The listing is managed by Vacasa and so communication is difficult. Because Black Butte Ranch is a private community, in addition to the VRBO fee, we also had to pay $9/person/day to enter the property, which was not communicated to us up front, so it was a disappointment in incur an extra $200+ charge for our entire party. ##### Angelina S. We had tons of space for everyone. The house was spacious, clean and very well stocked. Tons of toys for kids in the garage. It was very helpful that it allows dogs. We enjoyed the privacy but also the amenities of the community. Good swimming pool. The two minor issues we had were with the management company. I asked for clarification for the check-in instructions because there was a discrepancy between an email and a message I received. They gave me the wrong information but it was easy to figure out that we had to indeed go to the welcome center first. The welcome center collects the extra fee per person per night. On the day of our departure, checkout time was 10am with no possibility to extend to 10:30 or 11\. We left the house at 10am but left the car in the driveway for 40min while we walk the dog before our long trip back home. I let the management company know. They told me to go back to my vehicle right away so that we are not towed. Very strange and IMO unnecessary! Not the best way to end our trip.
