They thieves would take any complaint to evict you and keep your money especially the manager
HOTEL IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED
Not sure how Expedia let me book a closed down hotel. Imagine pulling up to a hotel to have your kickback for your bday to find out it’s permanently closed. I had to scramble to find a hotel at the last min
Was giving room that was dirty no one had cleaned it brought the attention to the front desk she gave me another room same i seen maybe 4-5 rooms before I was able to say ok this room is decent. I’ve asked to speak with a manager or have manager call me nothing this was Friday today is Monday and still haven’t heard anything from management
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy rooms and property. The first room was dirty and had cobwebs everywhere. I should have stayed in that room. Second room was even worse! Dirt etc on the walls, flys and gnats flying everywhere, broken TV where someone had smashed it and did not fix it and said they could not replace it. I had to clean the room by myself as the maid service said they didn’t have cleaning supplies. I had no where else to go so spent the night there. Unbelievably noisy with people and cars in the parking lot and the neighbor started playing loud music at 4am when they got home.

The king size bed was wonderful and the shower was great.
Kitchen does not have pots and pans. Limited towels, plates, cups and utensils. Has coffee pot but do not provide coffee. No tissue box available, some lights are not working. Lobby sign says including breakfast, but there was none. Do not recommend.
Although the staff was friemdly, the accommodations were subpar. I booked a penthouse suite and more things were wrong than right. The handrails, fans,showerbars, lights in the room were all broken. There were no sheets for the sofa bed and the sheets that were on the downstairs king bed had blood on them. The bathroom floors upstairs were filthy. The door for where the furnace was was dusty. The fride had old butter in it. The floors were sticky. Just gross. For the amount I paid and the deposits they ask for you'd think the place would have been better taken care of. Ill be sendimg my complants to corporate also.
If you need a sign this is it!!! Don’t book! I will be calling corporate!!!
Ill start by saying i made reservations more than a week before and i got a call the day of check in that they made a mistake and overbooked and have to cancel my 2 days… (wasn’t my fault) and they did nothing to accommodate me on this special weekend. So they cancelled 3 hours before check in. I had to find another hotel in 3 hours on a special weekend where everything was booked!!
I decided to call around 6pm after check in to see they had any available rooms.. and what a surprise they did. The receptionist Onyeee said come on in and she’ll take care of us.
Arrived. i will say she did everything to try to help us out. But still not enough. So come to find. They had plenty of rooms. The first room we went to
The towels was nasty no face towels lucky we bring r owe bugs, sheets stinks as u see in the freezer ice everywhere sinks plug up. Stay there b4 it wasn’t like that but never again just nasty
I have no clue how this hotel is a "By Wyndham" hotel. It is an old apartment complex converted into a hotel. The room conditions are best described as "Sticky". Plus they charged my credit card twice for the stay and the hotel manager never returned my call about the charge. DO NOT stay here!!
There was a cigarette burn in my bed when I got there, the shower didn’t drain, the “AC” pumped out hot, wet air and it was basically a sauna. I had to open the siding door all night which felt unsafe considering every light outside my room was not working so it was pitch black.
I reserved two nights and only stayed one because it was so bad.
This is by far the dirtiest most run down hotel I’ve come across. Broken glass in parking lot. People crammed in one room living with lots of dogs. Hotel doors had paint peeling. First room ac was broken. Second room had black hair stuck to sheets when I pulled back the blanket. Pillows were so old they were no longer rectangular but lumpy squares.
First was sent to a "room" after some confusion between front desk personnel. Neither was dressed professionally and gentlemen in tee shirt was told he was reading wrong numbers for my credit card and "this is why i have to call people in the morning about their card" I came back to front desk as neither key i was given worked. When i returned to check in lobby to say the cards didnt work. I was greeted with disbelieve that my room keys didn’t work. Returned to assigned room where i was greeted by a guest who said they had the room for the next several days. Return to lobby given a new room in a different building. Room had mold on utility closet and bathroom was filthy. This is not a suites hotel as advertised but apears to be full time housing with occasional overnight rentals. I checked out and did not stay here was informed i would still be charged as no refund policy.
The photos of this property must’ve been taken YEARS ago because it no longer looks like the photos. The hotel was filthy. I found a previous guests clothing in a chair. Spiders in the room. Dust and dirt everywhere. Couch was stained and had holes in it from cigarette burns. The carpets were so filthy my feet turned black from walking around shoeless and I have athletes foot now.
Many years ago a friend booked this hotel, and I remember liking it enough to book again.
On this trip, however, this place was both disgusting and worrisome. I had to take pictures of how I left it (cleaner than how I found it) for fear this place will try to run a game on the deposit.
Any and all amenities promised were unavailable from a hot breakfast to any food at all. The internet was "free" but nonexistent as the LAN network was available sometimes, but connection to the internet was so intermittent I could not even get to http://example.org more than once within a half hour. I even had to bring my own toilet paper as I found out an hour into staying there.
The phones would ring every few minutes from Midnight to some unknown time. It is unknown because after alerting the staff (with their short attitudes and uninterested demeanor) I was informed it "just happens." This prompted me to leave the disgusting phone off the receiver and move on at about 4 A.M.
The "non smoking ($200 fine)" room reeked of smoke and was filled with other people's hair. The room looked as if a vacuum hadn't even touched it for the last five visitors with the variety of hair found throughout from the kitchen to the carpet to the bathroom.
This and many more finer points of staff interaction have prompted me to write both a review here and contact Wyndham separately. If I am able to request a refund I will be doing so at the earliest opportunity.

I have stayed at Hawthorn before, not this one but others. Great concept. Extra room, a kitchen so you don't have to eat out....this one was not that place of previous properties.
I'm sure there is a customer for this property (all I will say) but don't go with high expectations. If price is your driver, this is a good choice. (all I will say).
Not even sure how to describe it other than to say, think twice. .
Multiple big black spiders inside the room, the bathroom door had been kicked in, the frame around the door was busted up, the air conditioner didn’t cool the room down the thermostat was set at 49 degrees, I was afraid to go to sleep, fear of a spider might crawl on me, sleep with the lights on.
