Cropseyville

« This house was physically perfect for us. The number of bedrooms, the layout of the house (wonderful for gatherings), the pool and the fenced in yard was perfect for our large family and the pets that came with us. Hanging out in the open spaces, cooking together and just enjoying each other was awesome and easy. Having put that very important part of it first, there were some "bumps". We had several communications from Rimon concerning the connections regarding the wi-fi. After some back...

« Nice place to hang your hat! Checking in was easy, just a keypad. Kitchen has all the amenities you need for basic cooking, bathroom includes a long bathtub for a relaxing soak. It’s also across the street from an ice cream place! My only (very minor) con was that kids were playing loudly most of day, so not exactly a remote/quiet getaway, but hey, kids will be kids and I was off enjoying meals & hiking most of the day anyway. Would recommend! »

« We are still enjoying our stay, but I wanted to leave a review because we’ve had such a wonderful experience. The house is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mature greenery, and incredibly quiet. After spending so much time in a noisy city, this was exactly the escape we needed. We were able to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The property feels private and well cared for, and the natural surroundings make it even more special. « The house was very historic and charming and the property was gorgeous and had a stunning view. However the property didn't seem safe with the door being glass and not a sturdy lock. We also couldn't find a garbage can in any space except the bathroom downstairs. We moved that to the kitchen in order to throw out basic things like tissues and receipt papers. The AC downstairs was literally frozen and therefore didn't really cool the space. It was uncomfortable to be in that space and it...

« Had a very nice stay. We were in town for the Solid Sound Festival, and its location to North Adams as well as being near Williams College was ideal. A very cozy place to stay for the weekend, with the added bonus of being able to dip our feet into the river behind the house. Also, I recommend stepping into the antique store next door for some kitschsy finds. Would stay again when back in the area. »

It was a great place to come home to after a busy day. Michaela, the host, was very helpful and responsive -- checking in on my stay. I appreciated the available washer and dryer.
