![Here is a little unusual photo from me, but with a lot's of meaning. I was visiting the place I spend a big part of my childhood called - Resort Klášter Želiv. This town has a very famous church and monastery listed in UNESCO which use to be a care home and hospital back in the days. It is now going through big refurbishment and it's once again returning to its former glory. I was super happy to see some of the interiors and here is one of my favourite photos. « I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at this establishment was deeply disappointing from start to finish. While the building is a converted convent, the "charm" of the historical setting is completely overshadowed by poor management and a lack of basic hygiene. « L'accueil est de qualité. Les receptionnistes parlent anglais. Le personnel est professionnel. Par contre, le logement se fait dans un batiment annexe, seul le petit dejeuner à lieu dans le chateau (les photos peuvent prêter à confusion). En parlant de ce dernier, il est de qualité et en quantité (buffet). Malheureusement le logement, s'il se fait dans une annexe neuve ou fraichement rénovée, est des plus anonyme. « Nous y avons passé 2 nuits afin de visiter Jihlava et aller 1 journée à Brno. D'extérieur l'hôtel est imposant et joli. Mais quand nous y rentrons, nous plongeons dans les années 80, tout est resté dans son jus... Par contre, le personnel est agréable, souriant et parle anglais. Le réceptionniste nous a conseillé les endroits sympas où manger des plats traditionnels. La chambre reste dans le style de l'entrée mais correct et propre. La literie et les oreillers sont parfaits. Le petit déjeuner...

« Nous avions réservé une chambre "standard de 22 m2" d'après le descriptif Expedia. Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une chambre sous le toit, prévue pour une personne dans laquelle on avait ajouté un lit. La chambre hors salle de bains faisait 10 m2 dont une partie à hauteur de plafond réduite. Le réceptionniste nous a dit que c'était la chambre que nous avions payée. C'est parfaitement scandaleux. »

"L'accueil est de qualité. Les receptionnistes parlent anglais. Le personnel est professionnel. Par contre, le logement se fait dans un batiment annexe, seul le petit dejeuner à lieu dans le chateau (les photos peuvent prêter à confusion). En parlant de ce dernier, il est de qualité et en quantité (buffet). Malheureusement le logement, s'il se fait dans une annexe neuve ou fraichement rénovée, est des plus anonyme. Beaucoup de choses y sont bruyante : le carellage du couloir, la porte de la pièce d'eau, les toilettes et la douche. Ça manque de confort acoustique mais aussi d'isolation phonique avec les chambres voisines. Les chambre sont très propres. Pour l'environnement, dans les deux chambres le chauffage etait au maximum alors que nous avions presque 20 degrés dehors. Le domaine possède un grand stationnement privédonnat sur la rue (le portail reste ouvert toute la nuit), payant (un peu plus de 4€ la nuit par voiture). C'est peu, mais c'est mesquin."

Le petit déjeuner reste classique mais nous sommes étonnés de voir que le fromage, le jambon et la charcuterie sont découpés en toutes petites portions. Le buffet reste à volonté, donc rien ne vous empêche de remplir votre assiette mais cela étonne ! C'était bon et varié. Pour le prix de la nuit avec petit déjeuner, c'était bien. "
