"I think it is great value for the money. For a downtown location it happens to be on a quiet street but close to the hustle and bustle. "Stayed here for 3 nights. I have mix feelings about this hotel. The lobby was nice, had high hopes that the room would be good from what the looby looks like. The room grew on me though. The shower heads needs replacing so badly, very old and lime scale, but it works. The bed was so so comfortable. The bedsheets and towels smell lovely. So well done to the laudry people! The staff were lovely. The breakfast was just ok. Swimming pool is good especially with the very hot weather."

"It would have been nicer of them to keep the pools a little bit cleaner of the debris from the plants. The pools constantly had a lot of debris, which are really not a harmful thing, but just makes the pool look bad. In the spa, there should be a way to lower the air conditioning because otherwise after getting out of the warm pool or the sauna or steam room it feels very, very cold. "

"If you are coming to Asuncion, strongly consider staying at the Arthaus Boutique. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots.
