![In 1916 a steel bridge was built over the waters of the Canadian River for wagon travel. The 3,255 ft pin-connected bridge is the longest in the state. It was closed in 1953 when a new bridge was constructed. In 2000 it was completely restored and is now the focal point for a scenic hike-and-bike trail.
