« After over 2 weeks in Australia staying in 10 hotels costing from 120 to 250 per night, the Anchorage was the 1st disappointing hotel we had! Reasons: It is one of the most expensive hotel we booked. The WiFi was not working in our room, only in the lobby and pub, asking the question to a staff, he told us that the WiFi was not working in many rooms far from the lobby! While this is an historical hotel which we like, it is not maintained well, some lights are broken in the corridor, our room...

« Perfect location. Walking distance to beach. Got an early check in and late check out, which was amazing!Double bedroom had an interesting smell (not great) and oven and coffee machine didn’t work. Would go back again! »

« This property was previously a cafe and has been cleverly converted into motel-style rooms. The decor is stunning, and the bathroom is particularly gorgeous and modern. The unit was very well-equipped with all we needed for a brief stay, including microwave and small fridge, table and chairs. A mobile caddy held eating utensils, glasses and mugs, and toaster. There was plenty of cupboard space and proper clothes hangers (yay!). Linen of good quality was supplied. Efficient air conditioning,...

« A very disappointing stay as the unit had a very musty smell, was not clean, mouldy carpet, wardrobes smelt, no aircon remote for bedroom, fan in bathroom worked only very occasionally and no window, towel rail loose, no maintenance book to complete as requested by host, strange shower set up. We had to clean the exhaust fan and the window sills and under the bed ourselves. Also there were things stored in the 2nd bedroom with no wardrobe space. Good location and comfy bed though. « Great little accomodation suitable for the whole fam! »

« Beautiful winters getaway! The house was clean and as described in the listing. Great location, nice and quiet but close to everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you! »

« The cottage is stylish with lovely garden and views, but does not have enough kitchen facilities for 4 to self cater. No basics eg salt pepper, oil. Not a problem for locals driving but anyone flying from elsewhere will not wish to bring these. Only two v small saucepans and one small/medium. No frying pan (only a large and dirty electric fryer). A combi microwave/oven but no instructions on how to adjust oven temperature. The VRBO listing says there is a hot-tub - not present »

« Great location with nice sea views - Very clean modern apartment - great host. »
