Berry Islands Cheap Hotels

"Pros: Good balcony with nice lagoon view Hammocks were amazing. Lots of lounge chairs. Easy walk to beach Pool seemed clean Housekeeping was good. Cons: Room was in terrible shape. Dishwasher falling apart and not properly adhered to counter space. Pull out bed was unusable. It was described as being able to sleep 4. We had 3 people and 2 had to sleep on the floor. The pull out matters was thin and torn. Some of the springs were missing from the support. The large king size bed had terrible motion transfer which made it difficult to share with another person. We had made multiple requests for a rollaway bed that were not responded to. The shower knobs didn't work properly and the cold wouldn't turn off. All TV channels were fuzzy, better if you use your own Netflix account. Ocean access point isn't very swimmable due to reef at shoreline. The area is not well maintained and we found many sharp metal scraps and broken glass. "

"The front deck were very friendly and helpful whilst the location 10 minutes from the airport) was very useful. and peaceful. Although an older property it was well maintained but some further work is required to finish the guard rails on outdoor steps in a few places."

"I booked for two days before my next hotel and this one was horrible, inside is very small and the rooms looks old. There was mold, The bathroom wasn’t neat, overalls the place needs renovations,"

"Emailed the hotel ahead of time to arrange airport shuttle, quick response asking for flight details and what we’d be wearing so driver could pick us out. Contacted hotel several times but received no confirmation regarding the airport shuttle. Called when we landed and we were advised to call again once we’d cleared immigration. When we called we were told to just get a taxi - so we expected to pay $25 for their shuttle but ended up paying $41 for a taxi. On arrival at the hotel the receptionist half heartedly apologised whilst dealing with other people and telephone calls while she was meant to be checking us in. The hotel is tired, run down and not worth the money we paid. Very disappointed and would not recommend "

"Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout. "
