« I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though »

« Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again »

« It was very clean. The drive was a little tricky. But gps was made for a reason. It so definitely tiny. It smelled of fresh wood, and the wood work is impressive! If you can’t walk up a small set of stairs I wouldn’t book this. The bed you have to crawl into. Theres not much head room. But we didn’t. We had a great host. »

« We loved this place! It was so cozy and relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for as we explored Bar Harbor and Acadia during the day and then relaxed out on the dock and the swing at the end of the day!Highly recommend if staying in the area. »

« A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer! »

« Beautiful view and great amenities esp for families with kids- great bunk room and game/media room with pool table and arcade games that our grandsons loved. Hot tub and fire pit were a big plus as well and the s’mores kit left for us was a great touch! Host was very communicative and we enjoyed the stay! »

« This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail. »

« Phenomenal staff. Absolutely phenomenal. Everyone. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast (@3 times), and it was superb. Definitely seems to be a dinner destination for many people not staying on site. Would have loved to have tried it, but spent long days in Acadia NP (MDI and Schoodic) and generally not back in time.Would certainly return to this property. »
