"First room smelled like cigarettes. Second room had folded up towels that were dirty with an old soap laying on top of them. No breakfast. I keep calling them to have my deposit refunded, big surprise they don't answer and they never issued my deposit back. Run."

"It’s always a good time when you are at dee dee’s. This is our 4th stay and we will be back. It’s like having your own private resort all to yourself for the price of a hotel room. In ground swimming pool. golf cart to ride around. tons of indoor outdoor games. 2 stocked fishing ponds with poles and worms provided. kayaks and canoes. fire pit. s’mores provided. goats to pet and play with. and make sure to visit her daughters farm stand right next door. we got lots of goodies."

"This was our second time staying at LaOk ranch. Absolutely love it everytime we come in town for a rodeo. The horses are always happy and content staying here. Our crew enjoys staying offsite to relax in between rounds. "

"This quiet getaway was exactly what we needed. This little cottage was absolutely amazing and beautiful, clean on the inside and well maintained. My wife loved everything about it not to mention they even decorated for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend to stay in the small town of Carthage and stay at the cottage. It has definitely been put on our list of places to revisit! "
