"This is a beautiful, historic hotel that brings you back in time. The rooms are 100% fine. Clean and convenient. A perfect place to explore a wonderful small town."

"This is a self-check-in, which is an interesting process, but it worked well if you don't mind being stuck on your cell phone to get through it. The biggest drawback is that standard television is not available. It took me a while to log into a streaming service to view the world cup game I wanted to see the evening I checked in. Also, there is no A/C. A good window fan would have been fine, but despite the evening being cool, and not humid, the room was quite warm. The location is very good, being only a few blocks from the center of the historical district. Overall, I would use the facility again. It was very clean, and had both plenty of towels and rags (a nice touch.) The staff, when I met them were also very helpful, and had good local knowledge."

"Love the Old Tale Inn in Leadville! Would love to give 5 stars, the outside I a little rough BUT the rooms are fantastic!! Absolutely spotless clean, updated bathrooms and flooring, nice smart TV, new coffee maker. Customer service is 5 stars. The only thing we didn’t like was there was a lot of light coming into the room at night. If they would add black out curtains to the window in the door and floor to ceiling blackout curtains on ALL the windows, this hotel would be perfect! We will still always choose the Old Tale Inn every time we’re in Leadville because it is a great place to stay!"

"The cabin was very clean. If we had a question it was answered quickly by the host. It was a very quiet area and convenient to town. Private parking area, specifically for our cabin. The motion detector lights were nice when you needed to take your fur baby out after dark. We had plenty of linen, and the frig had water and sparkling seltzer to drink. The goody bag was nice too. All in all, it was a pleasurable stay."
