"Location is perfect, has everything you could possibly want at the property, groceries, alcohol, clothes, beach items, rental items and restaurants Down side was one very rude front desk women but there were also a couple very nice and helpful Especially the younger man with the big hair😊.Elevators were either broken or very slow and it wasn’t even busy. I asked for housekeeping and they never showed up and I had to go to the desk to change towels. Never once was there house keeping on our floor that I saw."

"The ice machine didn’t work on our floor or the other 2 floors that we checked so I just assumed they all didn’t work. We checked in on Friday and our AC unit wasn’t working. They couldn’t get the unit to work until Saturday late evening. Saturday weather was hot but our room felt hotter than outside. I understand the reasoning of the pool hours, adults only the first and last 2 hours of operation, but wished it wasn’t so as my kids looked forward to swimming. Other than the listing above, stay was nice. It was close and convenient within walking distance to the beach and to their event area. That was definitely a treat!"

"The house is in a great location! The pool and the beach access made for a great weekend. Our issues occured largely on our first night. When we arrived we could not find any sheets for the pull out couch/futon/trundle bed despite these being advertised as sleeping options. I contacted the management company whom responded promptly by saying the sheets could arrive that evening or tomorrow AM. The sheets did not arrive until the morning. I’m not sure why they thought providing sheets in the morning was helpful given we had people who needed to sleep in the mentioned areas. We had to go out and buy sheets ourself as well as many paper products. The master shower is extremely difficult to work and no instructions are available. We took cold showers our whole stay. We did have an issues with cleanliness as we found a plate of pizza under a bed while setting up the trundle. I contacted the owner and their responses was an apology. Overall I enjoyed my weekend but I don’t think I’d pick this house to stay at again, I’m sure there are better options with similar locations."

"Betsy was very responsive to communication. To a Midwesterner, Virginia prices seem a bit high. Nothing about this was a surprise, though, her communication is very clear on her listing. But her lovely Croatan Beach home was worth the rental price. We easily accommodated our large group for sleeping, and the two master suites are a bonus! The kitchen is well-equipped, and it was easy to prepare meals for our six-family groups. The main living floor provides two comfortable settings for socializing.The outdoor hot tub on the ground level was very convenient. The multiple decks and bathrooms served our many people well. The top level deck has a great view!Access to the beach is convenient. Betsy's instructions about rinsing feet upon your return is well-supported by the two outdoor hoses. If we lived closer, I would be saving now for a return visit!"
