"Right on the edge of city centre, everything no more than 10 minute walk. Loads of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Hotel clean, tidy and comfortable, staff were superb, nothing a problem. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel de France."

"The room I was in was extremely noisy. Whenever somebody used water above me, I could hear it rushing through the walls or pipes. It woke me up several times over the night. I really wouldn’t stay here again, the lack of sleep was a little bit distressing."

"This apartment is opposite the busiest and noisiest bar in Bergerac with live music finishing at 1am or 2am most nights. The shower kept overflowing because the drain was choked and when I lifted the cover to investigate it was filthy and obviously not cleaned regularly. We were left a dirty cloth and pan scourer in the kitchen. The mattress on the bed is the cheapest,hardest and most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Although I negotiated an earlier entry on arrival the keys weren't available and we had to wait for an hour and a half.Dont rent this apartment if you need sleep! "
