"The property was extremely clean, there was a welcome basket upon arrival, which was a very nice touch to our arrival. It was a very comfortable house. The beds were comfortable and the location was close to downtown."

"Loved the property. It was plenty of room for two couples. But that had a foreign stove top and foreign stove was a little tricky on how to figure it out. We had to Google it. We’ve never used an induction stove, top before and found that there was only one pan that worked on the stove so that was a little difficult doing morning breakfast. So a couple more pans would be great. Light switches were very different, but we finally figured it out. The house was in a great location to everything that we had planned for the five days we were there. I think if there was a guest book on the table that gave instructions on how to use the stove top in the oven and the lights would be very helpful. We had a fantastic time in Alaska. I think everyone should go and visit."

"The place is cute, clean and a place I would recommend staying. First, you walk in and you see the living room, dining table and kitchen, all simply put together. The fun plus was seeing the Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. The bedrooms were clean, there were plenty of towels in the adequate bathrooms, and the cupboards in the kitchen had sufficient items to utilize. The odd things were the electric ceramic stovetop which wasn't easy to use, so we had to Google it. Some pans would not work on the surface. There is a little misleading as I did not see a fireplace. There was an electric style heater "fireplace" but not a real one. The neighbor has 4 dogs who made friends with us quickly. The neighbor herself was very friendly, aware of the surroundings, and helpful. Overall, if I were to visit this area of Alaska again, I would certainly stay here again. I recommend it to anyone for a simple stay in an area that was quiet."

"Stayed the weekend here for hockey tournament. Property is super close to the rink we played at, so very convenient. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants as well. The place was very clean and comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. I give it 8 out of 10. I really only have a couple complaints. A few weeks before our stay, I realized I had booked the property a day earlier than I needed. I sent host a message through the app about modifying my dates and never heard back. I would have understood if she couldn’t refund a day, but to not hear back at all was frustrating. Also, the Wi-Fi password she included in check-in instructions was wrong. So I messaged her about that, and no response again. Then I get a call at 8:30 PM saying kids were being too loud. She mentions then that she finally saw my message about the WiFi password, but we had already figured it out by then. It was annoying to get a complaint about being too loud at 8:30, when the posted “quiet time” hours did not begin until 10:00PM. Also, the quiet time hours posted in apartment are different from what was posted in check-in instructions. "
