Essenhaus Inn & Conference Center

Essenhaus Inn & Conference Center

10/10 Excellent
"Everything about this hidden gem is pretty unbelievable. Every late afternoon / Evening they put out two large jars of homemade cookies - peanut butter and chocolate chip - To Die For Tasty !! The Amish kind and gentle approach is to be experienced and savored. The breakfast is like no other continental breakfast on the planet. Do not forget to try the homemade Maple Cream Filled Eclairs. Holy Moly they are scrumptious. everything there is classy !! all handmade furniture featured in the hallways and generous sitting spaces and in the rooms - solid beautifully crafted oak beds with handmade Amish quilts. Do not stay at any other standard hotel nearby, you'll never know what you missed if you do. I stayed here last year for $110 a night and was $150 a night. it is completely worth the $150 - if you don't believe me, then stay there one night of the few nites you will stay in the area and I assure you, you will not go back to anything else nearby !!"
