"Coffee in the lobby in the morning (an excellent amenity). The only unfortunate thing is that the exercise room is very meager. This would not be the place to stay if one wanted a good exercise room. The rooms have character, but not all of the amenities that one might expect in a modern hotel (which was OK with me)."

"4 night trip to DC as a couple. Location was ideal. Easy walk to the Capitol building, Library of Congress and the Supreme Court. Close to Capitol South metro station which made it even easier to get around. We had a king suite which was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. All the staff we interacted with were really efficient and helpful. Breakfast was a bonus and although we didn’t have it every morning on the days we did have it, it filled us up until dinner. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to DC."

"We had a lovely stay for a few days in the Dc area. The staff - especially concierge were kind and welcoming and we enjoyed getting breakfast room service. We also enjoyed the byredo bathroom supplies and the hotel in general as well as proximity to metro DC area."
