« The cottage was lovely. However, the owners weren't about, to ask questions. We couldn't use the log burner as there was no wood or anything. There was no basics when we arrived, such as toilet roll or milk and no shop to buy things after 1pm. The location was lovely but very remote. Had to travel to get anywhere. Lovely and quiet though. The history of the cottage was fascinating. »

« Visiting in January, not all cafes or restaurants were open but The Captain's for fish and chips was delicious. Seadrift was perfectly located, enjoyed blustery walks on the coastal path and the beaches were fantastic for dog walking. The cottage was always warm and cosy and the log burner a delight in the evenings. « We opted for the Viking Lodge as a stop between North and South Wales, and it was delightful. The lodge comes with all the required amenities, fridge, oven, stove, kettle and top notch WiFi. This is something that teenagers seem particularly fond of, and ours were no different. The lodge is set just off a farmhouse, amidst scenic rolling hills in central Wales.
