Rich with character and surrounded by mountain views, this two-bedroom retreat blends rustic authenticity with unbeatable convenience—offering walkable access to town while still providing space to relax and unwind outdoors. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the fenced yard as deer wander by, strolling downtown for dinner and a show at the Creede Repertory Theater, or heading straight onto nearby trail systems, this cabin delivers a true Creede experience steeped in history and mountain charm. –Where You’ll Sleep– • Primary Bedroom: Full Bed • Second Bedroom: Full Bed –Amenities You’ll Love– • Historic cabin built in 1892 • Large fenced yard ideal for relaxing and gathering • Mountain views right from the property • Cozy, rustic interior with original character • Fully equipped kitchen • Walkable downtown location • Located directly on Creede’s approved ATV route –Location– • Steps to downtown Creede restaurants, shops, and galleries • Walking distance to the award-winning Creede Repertory Theater • Direct access to Creede’s approved ATV routes • Ideal basecamp for exploring Bachelor Loop and surrounding trail systems • Close to hiking, fishing, and outdoor recreation in every season –Good to Know– • This is a historic home with preserved rustic features • This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay). • Book 7+ nights, and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and 4th of July holidays). • Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was adorable and convenient. It felt like an old time, true Creede experience, like you were visiting your parents or grandparents in Creede. Very clean. The beds were full-sized, too small for two adults used to more space. One mattress was comfortable, but the bed frame made it bouncy when one of us turned. The other mattress was too stiff. I slept on the couch until we decided to move to a new rental.
