"A lovely place to stay close to Garden of the Gods National Forest and more. My group stayed for a short trip over Memorial Day Weekend and wish we stayed longer. "In Marion for a family wedding. Perfect place for all of us (adult children and teenage grandchildren and pre-teen great grandchildren). Dramatic great room overlooking 5th tee. Got to review the golfers as an added benefit. Looks like a good spot for a getaway golf weekend."

"Cute house, right on the lake. Came down for college graduation, but seemed to spend more time at the house and lake thank anything else. House had every amenity needed, including a boat dock and electricity. On a whim decided to bring a boat along, and make a short vacation out of the trip. Looking forward to another trip down! Had everything we needed for 3 nights with 6 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 13. It was just big enough with four of us tucked into the room with the bunk beds. "Our stay at sailor's hideaway was amazing. We stayed from May 10th through May 15th 2024. The property is situated on a 2 lot corner lot with a frontdeck. Porch has a barbecue and a nice table to sit at to watch the sunset and sunrise. Birds were seeing we saw multiple. Dear mother, dear and not very many books. "Minutes from Garden of the Gods and River to River Trail. Temps too hot so we tried to be on trail by 7:30. On dead end road but noisy compared where we live (not bad). Great wildflowers and birds. Loved having a full kitchen. My husband in hot every day."

There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable.
