« Wonderful and lovely vacation home! I wish we could of stay longer. Very very clean and comfortable. The only somewhat critic is that its beside a very busy road and we can hear the cars driving. It is still very private and peaceful with the trees. Loved the camp fire and listening to the cicidas at night! I highly recommend and would stay there again if visiting Virginia. »

« I had a lovely stay at the cottage. My dog and I stayed here for a few nights. The location was perfect if you want to visit the wineries and the Charlottesville area. The cottage was super adorable and cozy and comfortable and clean. It was well stocked with the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re coming to the Charlottesville area, I highly recommend renting this cozy cottage. And the host was readily available every time I had a question. I hope to stay here next time...

« House was clean except for the two dirty hand towels lying on the bed when we arrived. Washer and dryer were behind a locked door so I had to message the host to get a code to open it. She first insisted it wouldn’t be inside a locked door, so I had to wait for her to find out about it and she replied quickly enough with the access code. I’m guessing nobody ever needed to use the washer before us? Strange. Rooms could have used dressers or something to put clothes in. Vanities in master...

« Everything about the cottage was great! It was perfect for our small family. Everything was super clean. The host was very responsive. All of the instructions were easy to follow and we had no issues checking in. It was such a convenient place to stay. We plan to come back! »

« We loved this location. Easy access to Wintergreen, or breweries and wineries along 151. The property is private and quiet, with a great piece of the Rockfish River flowing through. The house itself is so charming - we loved the modern yet rustic feel and the bed was so comfortable (the King size was a nice surprise since the listing said Queen)! We hope to be back soon when we're able to stay longer. »

« The property was very nice and comfortable. The area is convenient for hiking (Crabtree Falls is quite a workout!) and the property has a large fenced yard and a nice fire pit. We were a little concerned about 4 people sharing 1 bathroom but we made it work! The owner is very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to questions. While there aren't a lot of dining options close by, there are many options if you are willing to drive 30-45 minutes. Overall, a fun weekend in the mountains! »
