"The front desk attendant was very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the room was extremely dirty, especially the bathroom, which was in unacceptable condition. I honestly did not feel comfortable using the amenities or even having breakfast at the hotel. The only positive aspects were the comfortable beds and the convenient location, with a Wawa nearby that made it easier to find food and necessities. Sadly, cleanliness is one of the most important parts of any hotel stay, and this property fell far below expectations."

"***DO NOT STAY HERE*** This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room was disgusting like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks or longer, multiple broken things in the room, the smell of the room was PUTRID. My pregnant friend had to sleep in the vehicle because of the awful conditions, after she got stuck in the bathroom because the door got stuck. I called beforehand to let them know we would be checking in late with our ETA, it took over 10 minutes to wake up the person working the front desk to get checked in. To top it all off the staff has been the worst to deal with, they refused a refund, called me a liar about the conditions of the rooms even though I took picture documentation of everything. We stayed 1 of the 2 nights, this hotel staff lied to Expedia and told them we stayed both nights and would not approve a refund. They got tired of my calls and won’t answer my calls anymore. Please, please, please never stay here, this establishment is awful in every aspect possible. I’ll attach a few of the photos that were taken."

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Stony Creek

"I checked in around 3 pm. A female receptionist came out as soon as I enter the lobby. Lobby was clean and smelled nice. I did not receive welcome gifts. The next morning there were bunch of welcome bags sitting the back of the front desk so definitely not out of stock. I do not know why the receptionist did not give to me. I was charged $20 when checked in and told that it will be refunded at the time of check out. When checking out, I was told that it will take a couple of days. Now I have to check my credit card account and worry if the money returned. This spoils my trip a lot. Kobi, the receptionist who checked me out told me to call the hotel if no refund was processed. The room was clean. In the fitness room, there was a spider web hanging from the ceiling to the machine."

Sleep Inn & Suites Stony Creek - Petersburg South

10/10 Excellent

"Clean room, smelled good. Nice stay. I was pleasantly surprised. And free breakfast. Waffles, sausage and potatoes and eggs were delicious!"

Brentwood Inn & Suites

8/10 Good

"Room was great, location was great and staff were great. Air condition worked very well. We have many neighbors surrounding us smoking weed! We got a contact with the smell several times due the stay."

"The property can monopolize on the rate be because they have no real competition for accommodations for travelers. The appearance of clean is there at the exterior, however, the property (rooms) is deteriorated with worn furniture, rusting framework, heavy limescale in the shower, and appearance of mold forming in the ceiling. Rate paid definitely did not match the quality. Breakfast options very minimal. Choice brand standards definitely have not been met."

"I literally feared for my life. This seemed to be a Pay by the hour hotel. There was dope Smoking all around us. There was dead bugs on the beds. There was a lot of people hanging over the second floor rails, extremely loud music from all angles of the motel. I would never recommend to anybody to stay there. I wouldn’t let my dog stay there and I don’t have one. I would love to get my money back for this waste. The pool was covered couldn’t have used it if you wanted to. I left shaking and went and found another place to stay in another town. I suggest a pop inspection."
