« The weeds, dumpsters and old furniture in the front drive was a sign this was not a good booking. There was a note taped to the front of the door about their mess during refurbishments. The place was chaos, there was an old charcoal grill in the weeds next to the side door. The room was somewhat updated but then not. « They look like they are in the midst of remodeling but it also looks like the project has been sitting for some time. The room was clean enough, new sheets.
The small breakfast counter only had packaged bagels. I would not recommend the coffee. It was watered down and had things floating on top.
It is the only hotel in town. I would recommend staying in a different town and driving in if you have an event in town. »

« Beautiful spot! Loved the amenities, and the breakfast at the restaurant was top tier. The views are gorgeous and we wished we could have stayed longer to explore the grounds.
The overnight staff could have been more proactive at prepping us for what the morning would look like. We werent given a map or anything when we arrived.
The lodge is also not pet friendly which was a bummer for us.
